Permanent Electromagnet has a permanent magnetic field. When supplied with power, the magnetic field is turned off or neutralized. The current is used to neutralize the magnetic field and holding force created by the powerful neodymium magnet. This type of electromagnet is used when the magnetic field is necessary to work most of the time (>50%), and off in a while.
