This specialized fishing magnet features a sintered neodymium core (N38 grade, 38 MGOe) encapsulated in a 48mm-diameter × 63mm-height epoxy shell. The double-layer 0.5mm epoxy coating provides exceptional resistance to abrasion, saltwater corrosion, and UV degradation, validated by 1,000+ hours of ASTM B117 salt spray testing. Magnetic flux is concentrated exclusively on the 48mm-diameter bottom face, enabling penetration through up to 30mm of aquatic sediment while generating ≥80 kg pull force on submerged ferrous objects. An M10 stainless steel eyebolt, welded to a 6mm-thick steel backing plate embedded in the magnet, supports 300 kg tensile loads. The design maintains thermal stability from -30°C to 80°C and withstands hydrostatic pressure at 100m depths. Caution: Sudden detachment may occur with large objects.
Salvage Operations: Recovery of submerged tools, firearms, and metallic artifacts.
Environmental Cleanup: Removal of scrap metal from rivers, lakes, and ocean floors.
Industrial Maintenance: Retrieval of fallen parts in water treatment plants/docks.
Construction: Underwater debris clearance during bridge/pier projects.
Recreational Diving: Magnetic fishing for hobbyists and treasure hunters.
To ensure safety during transportation and compliance with shipping regulations, all magnets are securely packed with a metal shielding layer inside the box. This prevents magnetic interference with surrounding items and protects the product from external damage.
Packaging: Carton, Wooden Box, or Customized.
Q1. Why single-sided design?
Concentrates flux on one surface to penetrate mud/silt; prevents debris entanglement on sides.
Q2. How to prevent rust in saltwater?
Double-layer epoxy coating withstands 1,000+ hours of salt spray. Rinse with freshwater after use.
Q3. What reduces wet pull force?
Sediment thickness (>30mm), non-ferrous materials, or oxidized surfaces. Clean the magnet face frequently.
The NdFeB alloy is vacuum-sintered at 1,080°C into cylindrical blanks. After diamond grinding to ±0.5 mm tolerances, a steel backing plate with welded M10 eyebolt is bonded to one face using marine-grade epoxy. The assembly undergoes double-coating: first, an anticorrosive zinc-rich primer; then, a fluidized bed application of thermosetting black epoxy powder cured at 200°C. Flux-concentration tuning is achieved through pulsed magnetization (2.8 T) with ferromagnetic focusing plates. Final validation includes 72-hour immersion in 3.5% NaCl solution and pull-force testing on corroded steel surfaces.
